Summary

Scenarion Labs is a collaborative community building better tools for the AEC industry. Members will get exclusive access to in-development products, give feedback, and tell us what they want to see.

Goal

  • Launch Scenarion Labs program built on a platform that gives users access to the Scenarion product suite (beta products & products in development).

    • Validate customer personas, use cases and effective messaging.

    • Assess which portfolio product has sufficient market demand.

  • Aim to use SketchUp Rendezvue & SpacePlan as pilot products to establish a process to assess products with true traction and obtain market feedback for continuous feature development

  • Build up Scenarion as an innovation studio creating tools to reduce friction in processes for customers from the AEC industry and drive tech adoption in traditional industries

Kickoff

sign-in-flow-v3.png

This was a fairly straightforward project. It started by identifying the goals, determining the onboarding flow, and designing the dashboard where members can access the latest builds and provide recommendations and feedback.

Design

  1. Document flow of on-boarding users from multiple entry points (Scenarion website, App store, SketchUp Extension store)

  2. Create landing pages on desktop/tablet/mobile

  3. Show listing of available apps to download

Test

Unfortunately the company decided to close our business, due to shifting priorities, within a day of launching! We were unable to see the results of our work.

Despite this, my team and I learned a lot about start-up culture, early validation, and how to work together productively.
